Duck Rabbit Craft Brewery

4519 W. Pine St., Farmville

The multi-award-winning Duck Rabbit Craft Brewery will be one of the featured breweries during Bluegrass, BBQ & Brew in October.

Duck Rabbit features a large variety of beers, ranging from ever-popular Amber Ale to seasonal classic Märzan. And though Duck Rabbit touts a unique variety of beers, from dark to lighter, it is the idea and the creation behind these beers that have won the brewery nine Great American Beer Festival awards over the last decade, a gold medal in the World Beer Cup® and 25 more awards and recognitions at various beer competitions in the nation.

Created in 2004 by Paul Phillipon in Farmville, N.C., the brewery has created classic beer favorites in the Southeast and expanded its distribution to Georgia, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Alabama and Florida.

Duck Rabbit will be bringing its renowned beers to The Barn for NC Stop Human Trafficking’s Bluegrass, BBQ and Brew event, so you can listen to the fiddlin’ sounds of The Still Shakers and sip on one of North Carolina’s brewery jewels.

Tarboro Brewing Company will be bringing its signature beers to Bluegrass, BBQ & Brew this October.

TBC can already tout award-winning brews, such as Nana’s Roof and First Ride IPA from Jolly Skull Beer Fest.

But, with TBC’s team of craft beer enthusiasts, winning awards for its beer won’t be a surprise.

Initially created to be a part of Tarboro’s revitalization effort and to bring people together for their common love – beer drinking – TBC has already rocketed to success with its beer being distribute across the state.

“Long ago, we realized it takes a town to raise a pint. We found a loving, thriving community and set up shop in the perfect spot on Main Street. We wanted to give back as best we could, so we set up a space and began brewing beers everyone could enjoy.”
