Be the One
Neuse Regional Library
Kinston, N.C.

2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

It was a next-door neighbor who asked a question; a concerned school administrator; a community who let it be known there was suspicious activity in their neighborhood.

In “Be the One,” the documentary looks at various actions that every day people took to stop trafficking situations. Though this documentary is out of Texas, each survivor’s story – though unique in and of itself – echoes the struggles of many other survivors.

Those who reported their suspicious – also unique – also reflect what every community looks like and how these heroic people are no different from you, your neighbors or your community.

This documentary screening will not only look at how regular people made a difference in the fight against human trafficking, it will also shine a light on what your community is doing or could be doing in the fight.

Join us for the one-hour screening and discussion, and see how you can Be the One.
