Over the years, the protections for trafficking survivors have been chipped away. Now it is gender-based asylum that is under attack, and we must unite to combat this proposed change.

Human trafficking, female genital mutilation/cutting, intimate partner violence, “honor” violence, sexual assault and rape and forced marriage are all included under the umbrella of gender-based asylum.

Call to Action

Submit your comment opposing this asylum rule by July 15

This is your chance to make your voice heard. The Tahirih Justice Center is leading the way on this comment campaign and is a wonderful resource.

Share it on Social Media

We really must rally others to join this fight.

The more comments that are submitted, the more people raise a voice in opposition, the more likely this cruel rule will not be enacted.

Help Us Fill the Funding Gap

Our programming has been in full operation since the pandemic hit, however, we have reached a funding shortfall due to cancelled events and fundraisers.

As this nonprofit, along with so many organizations and individuals, grapple with the ramifications of this pandemic, we humbly ask you for help.

Maybe next time. Take me to the website.
