About

Isaiah 61:1b, 2b The Lord has sent us to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, and to comfort all who mourn.

Mission

We believe it is God’s call for Abolition! To raise awareness of the issue of human trafficking by educating our community while helping our partner organizations with resources to accomplish more, undergirded by a radical focus on prayer and petitioning God on behalf of the victims – and even the perpetrators. We want to equip our members and others with action steps to effectively respond to the evils of human trafficking. Additionally, we hope to create a model that can be replicated in other communities and churches. Operates out of Greensboro, NC.

In August of 2015, we will launch “Compassion in Action – Appalachian Outreach”. This will be a domestic project to assist 653 children in Welch, WV with physical and material needs, and to raise awareness about human trafficking in the U.S. Future plans include similar outreach to Native American Indians of the Cherokee, Lakota and Sioux Nations.

“LORD, you know the hopes of the helpless. Surely you will hear their cries and comfort them. You will bring justice to the orphans and the oppressed, so mere people can no longer terrify them.”
